"I have been a student at ELA since 1st grade. I began online school in 7th grade after covid hit. I enjoy attending ELA because help is always quickly available, Ms. Jennifer understands my busy schedule, and there are other students to spend time and interact with. ELA offers a great balance between online and in-person school, and I am very grateful to be a student here."

"I've been a part of ELA since 4th grade; I am currently in 9th grade. I have loved ELA since the first day I walked into the classroom. Switching to online school was a big decision for me but Mrs. Jennifer and all my classmates have been nothing but supportive every step of the way."

"We moved our daughter to ELA because our family was having a hard time balancing the real-life everyday struggles of family time and school/practices. There was fighting almost every day with the early mornings, long school/practice days, and late nights coming home. Our daughter is also someone who thinks outside of the box and regular 7.5-hour school days with 20+ kids in her class was extremely hard on her.
After a couple of months, we thought to ourselves this was not healthy for any of us, and this is no life for a child whose day was controlled from the time she woke up and until the time she went to bed. Moving her into ELA where the teacher/student ratio is much lower and personal experience meets her social and emotional needs is a decision I have never second guessed. ELA was absolutely the right solution for our family and was in the best interest of our daughter to meet her educational needs and continue her path of pursuing gymnastics and soccer at a higher level.
After her first day of ELA, she told me she liked school for once and that’s all I needed to know the right decision was made. We feel as if we got our daughter back and the balance of school, practice, and work is exactly where we want it to be now!
Thank you, ELA!

Throughout my schooling, ELA has always been a place of comfort and consistency for me. Because of the strong emphasis on one-on-one teaching, I was able to receive personalized feedback and meaningful support for my classes. That individual attention not only improved my grades and comprehension, but also deepened my enjoyment of learning. I was the kind of student who tied grades to everything, which made me be too perfectionistic for my own good or even put off work for a “better time.” Mrs. Jennifer was always able to call me out on these pushbacks and show me how to get my head in the game—wether that’s staying after class to go over essays or training me that commitment always means efficiency. More than improving my academics, she changed how I interpreted challenges and goals, which was extremely important to understand. Even after small mishaps, Mrs. Jennifer was always there to talk through struggles and helped alter the view I had of myself as a student. Knowing now that consistency comes after initiation and that it’s best to take things one step at a time has allowed me to thrive. This foundation strengthened my academic confidence and prepared me for the true rigor of higher education. The confidence I gained in her classroom is the reason I felt capable to apply to a variety of colleges, ultimately playing a role in my acceptance to Colorado State University. The analytical skills she cultivated are the same ones I now use in my college coursework. All of these aspects are things I have been able to acquire over the years, changing the person that I was in the best, yet unexpectable way.
